TechPrecision Gets $1.25M In Orders

Westminster-based component equipment manufacturer TechPrecision has received $1.25 million in new orders that will be shipped this year.
The orders include a $450,000-request from an unnamed defense contractor, a $250,000-order from a medical device company and a $550,000-deal for production materials. All three orders are expected to ship this year.
The news follows announcements last month of a $1.19-million defense order and a $1.25-million order from a company that makes solar wafers.
TechPrecision makes large-scale metal fabrication and component manufacturing equipment. The company also recently purchased a 125,000-square-foot manufacturing facility for $4.3 million and announced plans to hire 30 new workers.
