Southbridge musical instrument manufacturer SJC Drums, which counts Imagine Dragons among its clients, has moved to a new building on Worcester Street in Southbridge, co-founder Mike Ciprari said Monday morning.
The company moved to a 60,000-square-foot facility in summer 2018, which at the time nearly quadrupled its space. Ciprari did not specify how much of a downsize the new building represents, but said it is smaller and more efficient.
SJC opted to move after a new CBD company took over their Mill Street space, he said.
“We're in the midst of a new era of SJC Drums, and I'm very excited to get back to grassroots,” Ciprari said.
Among other things, the drum manufacturer is known for several of its high profile clients, including drummers from the bands Slipknot, Green Day and Imagine Dragons.
