A 15,000-square-foot retail space at 516 Boston Turnpike in Shrewsbury has sold for $1.6 million.
The seller was Matica Trust, affiliated with the Armenti family, the long-owners of the property, according to the Worcester District Registry of Deeds.
This was an off-market transaction, and the buyer – Capital Property Investments, LLC of Worcester – indicated no future plans for the site, said Drew Higgins, vice president at Worcester broker Kelleher & Sadowsky Associates, Inc. Higgins, along with Principal William Kelleher represented the buyer in the transaction, which was completed on Dec. 30.
