Secretaries get a raise this year
Salaries for administrative professionals will rise by 3.2 percent in 2008, according to administrative staffing firm Office Team. Office Team recently released its 2008 Salary Guide. In it, the agency says human resources assistants will make starting salaries between $27,250 and $37,500, a 5.3 percent increase compared to 2007. Senior executive assistants can expect base salaries to rise by 3.7 percent to as much as $56,750 and receptionists could see salaries increase to between $21,250 and $28,000.
