SCORE Workshops Tackle Tough Times

The MetroWest Chamber of Commerce is co-sponsoring two free workshops aimed at keeping businesses on track in a challenging economy.
The workshops are free and are being put on by business counseling organization SCORE, the Service Corps of Retired Executives. The first takes place Thursday and reviews 10 market-oriented improvements business can make. The second is scheduled for Oct. 23 and will cover how to be prepared to ask a bank for a business loan.
Both workshops are scheduled for 7:30 p.m. at the Memorial Building at 150 Concord St. in downtown Framingham.
The chamber, Framingham Downtown Renaissance, Middlesex Savings Bank and the Framingham Division of Community and Economic Development are sponsoring the workshops.
