Perini Corp. of Framingham announced new orders worth $226 million for work in Iraq and Guam today.
The $175 million in projects for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers in Iraq comes in addition to $170 million in similar projects announced last month. Perini will design and build temporary housing facilities for U.S. Department of State personnel in Baghdad, a maintenance facility for helicopters and an overhead coverage system at the Victory Base Complex.
Perini also received a $50.7 million award to repair a runway at the Anderson Air Force Base in Guam.
