Tenet Healthcare Corp. of Texas, the parent company behind Saint Vincent Hospital in Worcester, has not released its final earnings report for 2021 yet, but according to a Tuesday filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, the company anticipates having earned at least $3.301 billion in 2021.
That figure is the company’s earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization, or EBITDA, and would, per the filing, mean it believes it has met or exceeded its Wall Street consensus estimate.
The company filed the report shortly before presenting at the virtual J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference at 3 p.m. Tuesday.
The filing comes just days after a 301-day nurses strike ended at Saint Vincent, during which WBJ estimates the company spent, at minimum, $31 million over the course of the work stoppage.
