ReWalk Robotics Ltd., with United States operations based in Marlborough, has promoted a new chief commercial officer.
The company, a manufacturer of robotic exoskeletons for those with spinal cord injuries, said Thursday it promoted Jodi Gricci, who was ReWalk's vice president of global marketing, training and service.
Gricci will focus on the company's strategy for supporting Veterans Affairs, along with market development efforts for robotic exoskeleton systems for people with spinal cord injuries, among broader initiatives, ReWalk said. She will also expand efforts with the federal government in Washington and advocate for rights of the disabled in the workplace.
Gricci joined ReWalk in 2012 and was heavily involved in the company's initial public offering in 2014.
ReWalk, which has its international headquarters in Israel, has been involved in a VA clinical trial by selling its exoskeleton systems to the federal agency. The VA's trial, at six VA centers across the country, is studying the impact of exoskeleton use in personal settings.
