Renaissance Medical Group of Southbridge, a healthcare company specifically focusing on the region’s Latino population, announced on Monday it is teaming up with the Worcester Housing Authority to launch a new meal delivery program for WHA residents.
The program, dubbed Buen Provecho Meals, will begin targeting 1050 and 1060 Main St. in Worcester, known as the Webster Square Towers, per Monday’s announcement.
The program will provide shelf-stable food to recipients.
“When COVID-19 hit and the shutdowns began, many food programs were on a delay and overwhelmed,” said RMG CEO and Founder Jesus Suarez, in a statement. “Our team worked tirelessly to find resources for our patients who were struggling with food insecurities.”
The program officially kicks off on Wednesday.
