The Blackstone Valley Chamber of Commerce in Whitinsville has teamed with Worcester-based Quinsigamond Community College to offer an entrepreneurship certificate this fall.
The classes cover topics such as business plan development, accounting, finance and banking, social networking skills and management models and challenges.
The 38-hour long course will be held twice a week from late September through mid-November at the chamber of commerce office in Whitinsville. Upon completion, participating students will receive a certificate from Quinsigamond Community College.
The program costs $200 for Blackstone Valley residents and business owners and $450 for non-residents and people from outside the Blackstone area. Classes can also be taken a la carte for $25 per hour for Blackstone residents and $50 per hour for non-area residents.
