A Southborough-based corporation, 658 Boston Turnpike Shrewsbury LLC, registered to developers James and Steven Venincasa, bought an 11-acre lot in Shrewsbury for $740,000.
The property at 59 and 59R Cherry St. abuts 1.4 acres of land at 658 Boston Turnpike that the corporation purchased in March for $44,000, according to the Worcester District Registry of Deeds
Steven Venincasa is president of Casa Builders and Developers Corp. and co-owner of Elite Home Builders LLC., both of Westborough. Both companies have built several area residential developments in Central Massachusetts.
In February, Elite Home Builders proposed a 300-unit 40B apartment and townhouse development in Grafton.
James Venincasa is the founder of Francis + James Properties in Southborough, specializing in custom homes and restorations.
The Cherry St. properties together are assessed by the Town of Shrewsbury for $397,100.
