CRISIS COMFORTS
The Young Professionals Organization of the United Regional Chamber of Commerce donated $75 and several boxes of stuffed animals to Project Smile of Hopedale. The charity collects items for first responders to give to children who suffer traumatic events. HELPING HANDS
The Hampton Inn Boston-Natick set up a mitten tree in the hotel’s lobby for the second consecutive year during the holiday season. Guests, employees and local residents hung mittens, which were then donated to the Boys & Girls Clubs of MetroWest.
Harr Motor Group of Worcester raised $53,747 for the UMass Medicine Cancer Walk, to benefit patient care at the UMass Medicine Cancer Center of Excellence.
Coghlin Electrical Contractors Inc. of Worcester is a Year of Scouting sponsor for the Boy Scouts of America Mohegan Council.
Southbridge Savings Bank donated $3,000 to the REAS Foundation’s Charlton Chapter, which assists Charlton seniors with energy costs.
