Toys were dropped off at Bernie & Phyl's Massachusetts stores, including its Westborough location, and the Coldwell Banker ‘office in Northborough. Both Bernie & Phyl's and Coldwell Banker matched the gift cards donated. Photo/Courtesy Leominster-based Fidelity Bank employees donated $16,000 to eight local charities in lieu of a company holiday party. The following local agencies were selected: Worcester County Food Bank; Ginny's Helping Hands and Food Pantry of Leominster; Gardner Community Action Committee; Montachusett Home Care Corporation of Leominster; Shirley Friendship Fund; Fitchburg Senior Center; Millbury Fire Department Ladies' Auxiliary and North Central Massachusetts United Way Emergency Care Fund. Photo/Courtesy More than $500,000 was raised at Milford Regional Medical Center's annual Melange fundraising event held recently at Imperial Chevrolet in Mendon. In keeping with the fundraiser's prohibition theme, most of the 325 guests wore vintage 1920s attire. All proceeds benefit The Breast Center at Milford Regional. Francis M. Saba, Milford Regional CEO, and Kevin Meehan, owner of Imperial Chevrolet, set the tone in suits and fedoras.
