OF NOTE
- Greater Worcester Community Foundation awarded Harvard-based Fruitlands Museum $3,500 for transportation and admission for middle-school students from Nativity School of Worcester.
- Millbury Savings Bank awarded scholarships totaling $4,000 to six area graduating seniors: Jeff Quan, Julie Hawthorne, and Sarah Morse, of Millbury; and Ashley Davis, Caitlin May and Erin Chadwick, of Sutton.
- The Worcester Sharks and the DCU Center raised $2,500 for the American Red Cross to support disaster victims.
