Worcester Business Journal will host its annual autum Health Care Forum on Nov. 20 at the Beechwood Hotel, focusing on issues impacting the Central Massachusetts workforce and the aging population.
The keynotes will be led by Robin Lipson, deputy secretary for the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs, and Robyn Stone, senior vice president for research at LeadingAge and Co-Director of the LeadingAge LTSS Center at UMass Boston.
Stone previously served under former President Bill Clinton in the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services as deputy assistant secretary for disability, aging and long-term care policy.
Issues to be addressed at the forum include the services needed to care for aging senior citizens and how the regional healthcare industry will allocate its limited resources to deal with these needs.
In addition to the keynotes, a panel discussion on these issues will feature Dr. Robert Schreiber, vice president and medical director of PACE for Worcester insurer Fallon Health; Tameryn Campbell, president & CEO of Masonic Health System of MA Inc. & The Overlook retirement community in Charlton; and James Fuccione, senior director at the Massachusetts Healthy Aging Collaborative.
