New Solar System In Oxford

Wilson Language Training of Oxford is set to unveil its new 139 kilowatt solar power system at its Old Webster Road headquarters this afternoon.

The company said the system is the largest solar installation in Worcester County and the seventh largest in the state. It is expected to provide about 164,000 kilowatt hours a year, representing about 22 percent of the company's energy usage. That translates to a savings of about $19,000 a year, which the company said would allow the system to pay for itself within six years.

The system was designed and built by Borrego Solar Systems of Lowell.

Wilson Language is a curriculum and teacher training company focused on literacy.
