DOUGLAS J. PETERSEN, president and CEO of Fitchburg-based Workers’ Credit Union, has been elected to the board of directors of United Way of North Central Massachusetts. He earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA from Bentley University in Waltham.

Worcester-based PC-PLUS Technologies hired JON ST. LAURENT as field engineer, and NAM NGUYEN and TYLER MOORE as help desk technicians, and promoted TIM CABAN and JUSTIN HYNES. St. Laurent previously worked at Plum Choice and Computer Associates. He is a graduate of Clark University in Worcester. Nguyen was previously employed by CSET. He is a graduate of Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester. Moore was previously a computer technician at Wing Memorial Hospital in Palmer. He is a graduate of Springfield Technical College. Caban was promoted to help desk supervisor and Hynes to field engineer. Caban is a resident of Auburn. Hynes, of Southbridge, formerly worked on the help desk.

Westborough-based Conservation Services Group has promoted SHEILA M. DALY and JACK SHEEHAN to vice presidents. Daly is director of professional services and Sheehan is comptroller for the national energy services firm. Prior to CSG, Daly was employed by Softrax Corporation and eCredit.com. She is a graduate of Boston College. Sheehan previously worked at DentaQuest. He is a graduate of Tufts University and earned an MBA from Columbia University in New York City.

Framingham-based Global Technology Systems Inc. hired WILLIAM BIGELOW as vice president of European operations. Prior to joining GTS, Bigelow was the regional service sales director for Motorola EMS. Bigelow earned a bachelor’s degree in physics, as well as a degree in electrical engineering, from Lakehead University, Canada.

Webster Five Cents Savings Bank has named ANDREA DOUCETTE as vice president, business lending officer. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Assumption College in Worcester and an MBA from Anna Maria College in Paxton. Doucette resides in Millbury.

DANIEL GILMORE of Mendon was elected to the board of directors for Milford National Bank and Trust Co. Gilmore is an independent marketing consultant. He was previously employed by the Foxboro Automation Division of Invensys PLC in London. Gilmore is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.

Fidelity Bank has hired CATHERINE DILLON as senior vice president and director of marketing and retail sales, promoted LISA KRYWUCKI to senior vice president, senior commercial credit officer and JENNIFER CONRAD to senior vice president, commercial services officer. Dillon was previously vice president of marketing at Sovereign Bank. Krywucki, of Groton, was previously the bank’s credit debt manager. Conrad was previously vice president, commercial services office financial designer at the bank. She lives in Worcester.

Southbridge-based Hyde Industrial Blade Solutions has promoted RICK CLOUTIER of Woodstock, Conn., and ROLANDO GONZALEZ of Southbridge. Cloutier will take on the newly created role of business development manager, and Gonzalez will be a senior sales specialist. Cloutier earned a bachelor’s degree from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine. Gonzalez is a graduate of Quinsigamond Community College in Worcester.

WARREN HAYDEN was hired as director of alumni relations at Saint John’s High School of Shrewsbury. He previously worked as field services manager for the New England region for Macy’s department store. Hayden earned a bachelor’s degree from Worcester State University.

Bay State Savings Bank in Worcester has hired TIMOTHY J. PIGOTT and DAVID PEREZ as vice presidents and commercial loan officers. A retired United States Marine Corps Reserves lieutenant colonel, Pigott graduated from Rhode Island College in Providence and has an MBA from University of Rhode Island in Kingston. Perez earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst and an MBA from Bentley College in Waltham.

Barry Communications of Worcester has hired MARINA KOZIAK of Webster as controller. She most recently served as director of finance for Page After Page in Shrewsbury. Koziak earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting from Assumption College and her MBA from Clark University, both in Worcester.

Southborough-based Protonex Technology Corp. appointed KENNETH F. COLUCCI as a non-executive member of its board of directors. Following his U.S. Army service, he held senior executive positions with Pacific Sierra Research Corp. and MIT's Lincoln Laboratory.

Liquid Ice of Northborough, a dispensed beverage company, hired BILL LYONS as vice president of operations. He most recently served as supply chain and demand planning manager at Nypro Inc. of Clinton.

United Bank has hired JACOB KOJALO as senior vice president of commercial lending, focusing on business development in Worcester County. He most recently worked as senior vice president and region manager for what is now People’s United Bank in North Andover. Kojalo, of West Boylston, earned a bachelor’s degree from Assumption College and an MBA from Clark University.

KATIE KEITA of Hopkinton-based EMC Corp. has been named to the Boston chapter of the National Investor Relations Institute board of directors. She is a senior manager of global investor relations. Keita has a bachelor’s degree and an MBA from Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.

JEANNE I. WATKINS has been hired by Hudson-based Murphy Insurance Agency as human resources manager. A resident of Charlton, she has a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Connecticut State University.
