Metrie doubles Northborough manufacturing space

Metrie negotiated a new lease, more than doubling its space in Northborough.

Metrie, a wood and molding manufacturer, has negotiated a lease that more than doubles its manufacturing space on Bartlett Street in Northborough, according to a Monday press release from Toronto-based real estate agency Avison Young.
With the lease, the Vancouver-based company has expanded from a 58,123-square-foot space at 301 Bartlett St. to 121,623 square feet. It moved to the location in October 2021 from a 46,000-square-foot space on Whitney Street in Northborough.
Metrie is the largest supplier and manufacturer of solid wood and molding in North America with five manufacturing facilities and 26 distribution centers in the U.S. and Canada, according to the website.
