Maynard biotech firm Allegro Diagnostics has named Michael Webb as its new president and CEO.
Webb comes to the company after founding and serving as president and CEO of Anchor Therapeutics in Cambridge. He’s the former chairman of the Massachusetts Biotechnology Council and also served as president and CEO of Lexington-based Epix Pharmaceuticals, a company that folded in 2009.
Allegro is a molecular diagnostics company that provides genome testing for the diagnosis of lung cancer and other lung diseases.
