MassDevelopment seeking applications for grant program
Through its AMP it up! Campaign, MassDevelopment will work with Massachusetts nonprofits and employer partners on programs meant to generate interest in advanced manufacturing and boost the prospective employee base for manufacturers across the state.
MassDevelopment is accepting matching grant applications for organizations that create educational programs surrounding advanced manufacturing for adults and students.
Through the fifth round of its AMP it up! Campaign, MassDevelopment will work with Massachusetts nonprofits and employer partners on programs meant to generate interest in advanced manufacturing and boost the prospective employee base for manufacturers across the state.
Past grants have been awarded to 3D printing programs, regional robotics leagues, and career exploration programs. In its first four rounds of grants, MassDevelopment provided almost $389,000 to 39 partnerships.
Applications are due Dec. 1, and grant awards will be made around January 16, 2017.
