MassDevelopment Bond For Health Center
The Edward M. Kennedy Community Health Center will renovate its Worcester and Framingham locations with the help of a $6.4-million MassDevelopment bond.
The center, formerly known as the Great Brook Valley Health Center, will fix up the 19 Tacoma St. Worcester location and consolidate two medical sites in Framingham into one newly renovated facility.
TD Bank purchased the bond, which is financed by the quasi-public MassDevelopment to make it a low-cost option. The bond will also refinance existing debt on the rehab projects.
