Voltaire Inc., a Chelmsford-based computer technology company, reported that annual losses for the company continued in 2009 with revenues falling about 18 percent.
Company officials blamed the global economic downturn on a decrease in sales from $61.6 million in 2008 to $50.3 million last year.
In turn, the company’s net loss increased from $5 million in 2008 to about $11 million last year. The company lost about $3 million in 2007.
Voltaire has a large research and development office in Israel. The company makes high-performance computing technology and cloud computing software.
