Jillian’s, a billiards, bar and arcade center on Grove Street in Worcester, will close at the end of the month, it said on its website.
“We want to thank all of our customers for their loyalty over the years,” the message said. “This is your last chance to hang with us and say goodbye.”
The facility began posting messages on its website and Facebook last week, but said there will be a replacement of sorts soon to open on James Street.
“There is some change of ownership happening, and a new billiards club will be opening on James St.,” Jillian’s said, referring to a street in the city’s southwestern edge near the Auburn line. “It won’t be the same as Jillian’s, but it will have similarities. They are currently doing renovations over there so look out for a bar called ‘Shooters’ this spring!”
