Jack's Abby Craft Lagers in Framingham has been waiting for warmer weather to open for sit-down service. That time is finally about here.
On May 14, Jack's Abby will open its outdoor beer garden but will remain outdoor-only until further notice for coronavirus precautions. Until now, it's been open only for takeout orders, including curbside pickup for beer orders.
Jack's Abby is allowing for people to reserve spaces for up to a month in advance.
The brewery's announcement came just a few days before Gov. Charlie Baker said Tuesday that Massachusetts pandemic restrictions will be relaxed. Starting Friday, facial coverings will be required outside in public only when it's not possible to socially distance. As of May 29, gathering limits will be increased to 200 people indoors and 250 outdoors, and all restrictions are expected to be lifted by Aug. 1, pending vaccine and public health data.
