In a series of land deals, Imperial Cars owner Kevin Meehan has acquired nearly 11 acres of commercial real estate on Main Street in Medway.
According to land records, the sales were recorded in May and June. In total, the Mendon-based car dealership owner, businessman and developer purchased seven properties for a total of $4.3 million.
The properties include a used car dealership, a car wash, a hair salon, a Burger King restaurant, a U.S. Post Office and a Mobile gas station and convenience store.
To carry out the transactions, Meehan used two different business entities: Route 85 Realty Corp. and Main Street Investments, LLC.
The properties are along a busy stretch of Route 109 in Medway across the street from the Medway Plaza Shopping Center.
Meehan has not yet filed any plans, nor has he detailed to town officials what his plans are for the properties.
Meehan did not return a call for comment.
Meehan has been active on the real estate front of late. On Aug. 3, he closed on the purchase of a 90,000-square-foot office building in Milford for $5 million and in July purchased 117 acres of undeveloped land in Milford that had previously been approved for a housing project.
In June, he sold the Grand View event venue in Mendon for $4.1 million. At the end of 2018, he purchased an eight-acre property featuring a driving range and restaurant for $1.3 million. Both properties are close to his Imperial Cars dealership in town.
