The Sturbridge Host Hotel & Conference Center has sold for just over $4 million to a buyer from Connecticut.
The buyer is a limited liability corporation registered to Renuka Yogesh Patel and Yogesh Patel of North Stonington, Conn. The seller was a limited liability corporation registered to the Baltimore address of Milestone Hospitality Management. Milestone Hospitality Management bought the site in 2005 for $15.5 million.
The sale closed Jan 24.
A message left for the new owners wasn't immediately returned.
The 232-room hotel and conference center at 366 Main St. was built in 1981 and includes 35,000 square feet of event space and 180,000 square feet of space in all. The site totals 15 acres and was last assessed by the Town of Sturbridge at nearly $12.7 million.
