Have phone, want pizza

Customers of a Marlboro pizza shop can now use their cell phones to charge deliveries, using technology developed by a local company. Chris’ Pizza yesterday became the first shop to ring up a delivered pizza using P2Pizza, a so-called m-commerce technology developed by Cyphermint Inc. in Marlboro. The way it works: Drivers use their cell phones to ring up the pizza at a customer’s house. Then the customer uses his own phone to add the tip and confirm the transaction. Money is stored on an account held by the customer. Cyphermint says the technology has big potential across a broad range of the retail segment. An added bonus for delivery drivers? No need to carry cash, says shop owner, Chris LaFlamme
