Hanover Opens Virginia Office

The Worcester-based Hanover Insurance Group has opened a new office in Reston, Va., as the headquarters of the company's health care division.
The office in Northern Virginia will serve the District of Columbia and parts of Maryland and Virginia. It will initially employ 35 people.
The health care division was previously headquartered in Vienna, Va. It is focused on serving at-home health care-related businesses including medical diagnostic equipment makers and health care agencies.
The office will also offer a variety of other services including small commercial, middle market, inland marine, technology and surety coverage.
