For the second week in a row, gas prices dropped 2 cents this week, according to AAA Southern New England.
The average price of a gallon of self-serve, regular unleaded gasoline in Massachusetts is $3.41, AAA said. The range in prices is 40 cents, from a low of $3.25 to a high of $3.65.
Locally, prices are up a penny over the past month and are 11 cents higher than the national average of $3.30 per gallon. A year ago, the average in the Bay State was $3.42.
The price of a gallon of diesel fuel fell 5 cents from last week, to $3.99.
