The Worcester Executives Association, a networking organization, and Worcester-based Massachusetts Veterans Inc. are holding a fundraiser to help veterans get jobs.
The two organizations are hosting “A Toast to Our Massachusetts Veterans” Oct. 24 at the National Guard Military Museum on Salisbury Street. The event will feature live and silent auctions, a wine tasting and food from restaurants and caterers from around Central Massachusetts.
A portion of the proceeds from the event, which costs $35 in advance, will go to the Mass. Veterans Inc.’s employment and training program to help veterans get back into the workforce.
Mass. Veterans runs an emergency shelter on Grove Street, and houses up to 130 veterans each night.
