Fresh Beginnings: May 27
- Marlborough Hospital opened a new spine center, in partnership with the UMass Memorial Medical Center, at the hospital. The center offers minimally invasive care and injection therapy.
- Beer Works opened its sixth restaurant and brewery location, at 345 Cochituate Rd., in Framingham, the site of the former Bugaboo Creek. The brewpub chain offers a rotating selection of beers, which are brewed on site. A 100-seat outdoor patio is also planned.
- Jen Roy PR opened in Worcester, promoting businesses and training executives in such areas as public speaking. Roy is a former news anchor for Charter TV 3's Worcester News Tonight. She previously worked for Unum as a senior communications consultant.
- Giorgi's Boutique, a women's consignment shop, opened in Marlborough. The store is located at 266 Main St.
