The Worcester Regional Transit Authority (WRTA) held a groundbreaking ceremony June 6 for what will be its new maintenance and operations facility at 42 Quinsigamond Ave. in Worcester. The new facility sits on 11 acres of land and will replace the WRTA's 85-year-old facility on Grove Street. Construction is expected to be completed in early 2016.
