Framingham-based Prelert announced an agreement Monday with OpenWare of Brazil to market its data science applications in South America.
OpenWare has already begun selling Prelert’s Anomaly Detective 3.0 across South America, Prelert spokeswoman Beth Bryant said. The reseller agreement was signed Nov. 18, Bryant said.
Anomaly Detective combs through reams of operating data to identify underlying issues or security threats, the company said.
“Prelert’s Anomaly Detective is a valuable addition to our portofolio of offerings for customers who are on the Splunk platform or looking for a strategy to manage and analyze their unstructured data,” OpenWare CEO Sidnir Vieira said. “We have already seen several companies that are interested in a presentation.”
Prelert already has reseller agreements in Europe, India, the Middle East, Australia, New Zealand and the Asia-Pacific region, Bryant said.
