Forbes names UMass Medical School one of best Mass. employers

UMass Medical School was ranked 39 among Massachusetts’ best employers in Forbes’ 2021 edition of America’s Best Employers by State list.
Other Worcester-based employers included UMass Memorial Health Group and Reliant Medical Group, which ranked 53rd and 63rd, respectively.
Employers in health care, education, and retail made up 41% of the list, an increase of three percentage points from last year, despite the pandemic’s impact on those sectors.
In Central Massachusetts alone, UMass Memorial is the largest employer and the medical school ranks third, after Dell Technologies in Hopkinton.
