Massachusetts saw a gain of 13,700 jobs last month, including 13,100 from the private sector, according to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, and the unemployment rate remained at 3.5 percent.
The private sector gain was largely attributed to gains in education and health services; construction, trade, transportation, utilities; professional, scientific and business services and financial activities.
Job levels in leisure and hospitality did not change, according to BLS.
