Execs find workload too heavy

Most senior executives and managers consider their workload to be too heavy, based on a new survey.

Seventy-one percent of executives and managers consider their personal workload (the sheer amount/volume of work) to be too heavy, according to a worldwide survey of 245 senior executives and managers conducted by Madbury, NH-based NFI Research. Slightly more than a quarter of executives and managers consider their personal workload to be significantly too heavy, while 45 percent consider it to be somewhat too heavy, 25 percent say it’s about right and three percent term it too light. Nearly three-quarters of executives and managers consider the business workload of people in their department and/or organization to be too heavy, with 20 percent of those terming it significantly too heavy.

NFI Research surveys 2,000 senior executives and managers globally every two weeks.
