Job demand remained flat in February after three months of dramatic declines, according to the Conference Board‘s Help-Wanted Online Data Series.
Online advertised job vacancies dipped by 6,000 between January and February. Online advertised job vacancies dropped by 507,000 and 506,000 in December and January, respectively.
In February, there were about two advertised vacancies for every 100 people in the labor market, the Conference Board said. In February 2008, there were slightly more than three vacancies for every 100 job seekers.
