Personal Income, Spending Up In January

Personal income increased by 0.4 percent and disposable personal income increased by 1.7 percent in January, according to the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis.
Personal spending increased by 0.6 percent during the same period.
In December, personal income and disposable personal income both decreased by 0.2 percent while personal spending decreased by 1 percent.
