Movers and Shakers
JENNIE GRAY, a director for the Clinton Hospital Foundation, was appointed to the Clinton Hospital Board of Trustees. She is branch manager for Leominster Credit Union in Clinton, is an active member of Clinton's community and has been a member of the Clinton Hospital Foundation since 2005.
BILLIE-JO TOZZI has joined Sturbridge-based McGrath Insurance Group Inc. as a commercial lines account representative. She previously served as a commercial lines account executive with the Small Business Insurance Agency Inc. in Worcester and with Insurance Marketing Agencies Inc.
VITALY GARAZ has joined Workers' Credit Union in Fitchburg as vice president, business banking, which includes new business member development and client relationship management. Garaz has extensive banking experience working with small and medium sized businesses and high net worth individuals. In his most recent position as a client manager with Bank of America, he had responsibilities in retail, commercial and personal investments. WCU also promoted JAYNE MATTHEWS to assistant vice president, lending manager. She joined the credit union in 1998 as a mortgage underwriter and was most recently a mortgage loan team leader.
Sudbury-based Methods Machine Tools Inc. has appointed KEVIN SARRO as the company's first director of financing and credit services. He will coordinate the program through the company's sales network, securing credit for purchases, leases, and rentals of new, used, and reconditioned equipment, including tooling, robotics, automation systems, and service.
Workscape Inc. in Marlboro has promoted LLOYD LAMBERT to vice president of sales. Prior to this promotion, he was vice president of strategic account management.
Clinton Savings Bank has hired GREGG DREITLEIN as manager of its West Boylston branch. Prior to his new position, Dreitlein was branch manager for Bay State Savings Bank
Worcester Polytechnic Institute has appointed CHRISTOPHER PRATT, former dean of career education at Columbia University, director of its Career Development Center. Before joining WPI, Pratt was a consultant to the U.S. State Department in Kosovo, where he was seconded to the United Nations Mission in Kosovo and the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, Department of Democratization.
JAMES SANDAGATO was promoted to commercial lending and services officer for the commercial division of Southbridge Savings Bank. He has been with Southbridge Savings Bank since 1998 starting out as a teller and eventually branch manager for the last six years.
Transport Pharmaceuticals of Framingham has appointed BRIAN GALLAGHER a director. Gallagher is president and CEO of Magen Biosciences and has more than 25 years of experience in the specialty pharmaceuticals, health care and diagnostics industries.
ANDREA MARTH has joined Clark University of Worcester as assistant vice president of university advancement. She will manage the annual fund, major gifts and planned giving, corporation and foundation relations, and alumni affairs and will provide management, leadership, evaluation, and mentoring to Clark's development operation. She has held various leadership posts at Wesleyan University and at The Foote School in New Haven, Conn.
Acton-based SeaChange International has promoted TOM ROSENSTEIN to vice president of product marketing and alliances. Previously, he served as vice president of business development. Before joining SeaChange in 2003, Rosenstein was director of business development for Avid Technology.
Marlboro-based Xcellerex Inc. has appointed JOHN CHICKOSKY to the newly created position of COO. He joins the company with more than 20 years of senior management experience in life science technology companies including Kendro Laboratory Products, CARR Separations, and Sepracor.
Northboro-based SullivanKreiss has named JUSTIN ROY, Principal-in-Charge of the firm's Chicago office. Roy opened the firm's branch office in Chicago. He is a graduate of Assumption College in Worcester.
Providence and Worcester Railroad Co. has appointed MARIE A. ANGELINI as the company's general counsel. Angelini previously served as P&W's assistant general counsel. She has also previously served as general counsel to the Worcester Redevelopment Authority. Angelini is a graduate of Northeastern University and New England School of Law, and is admitted to practice law in Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Maine. Angelini is vice president of Preservation Worcester, as well as the treasurer of the Legal Assistance Corporation of Central Massachusetts. She is also a trustee of the Worcester Art Museum.
Flagship Bank and Trust Co. of Worcester has appointed STEPHEN P. ESTAPHAN to senior vice president/commercial lending. Prior to joining Flagship Bank, Estaphan held the position of senior vice president and loan officer for Savers Bank in Southbridge. Mr. Estaphan currently resides in Douglas and has a degree in accounting and an MBA from Nichols College. He has also served as chairman of the Grafton Economic Development Commission as well as the Central Massachusetts Economic Development Committee.
