Competition good for productivity

Results of a survey by The Creative Group suggest that people who work in advertising and marketing are competitive with their coworkers.

The survey said 72 percent of advertising and marketing executives agreed that their staff members compete with each other, and that could be a good thing. Nine out of 10 respondents said a competitive environment makes employees more productive.

The Creative Group is a marketing and advertising staffing agency.

The group said that while competition is good, too much competition can be counterproductive.
