Cogmedix, the wholly-owned subsidiary of Westborough-based Coghlin Companies, Inc., announced its revenues grew by nearly 60 percent in 2016.
The Worcester medical device engineering and manufacturing services provider last week credited an increase in client base and higher demand from existing customers with its revenue boost. Growth from Cogmedix’s existing customer base led to increased production of optical and laser-based medical devices, according to a press release from the company.
Last year, Coghlin Companies invested heavily in Cogmedix and Columbia Tech, its other wholly-owned subsidiary. At Cogmedix, Coghlin upgraded several electronic business systems, including the ERP system, a new electronic PLM system, and an MES system, which the company said will enhance its materials management, shop floor control, serialization, traceability and device history management.
