San Diego-based Express Logic, Inc. has opened its first location on the East Coast with a Framingham location that will serve Eastern and Central time customers.
The new office will allow the company to better serve the growing numbers of East Coast developers using its ThreadX RTOS and middleware products, according to Express Logic. The company's customers include Hewlett Packard, GE and Honeywell.
Express Logic, which specializes in real-time operating systems and complementary software development tools that are used in everything from cell phones and tablets to medical devices and IoT applications, will be able to better work with customers with its new location, as it had been doing from its California office. The location will be staffed by an undisclosed number of sales and support professionals who will work with processor vendors, development-tool partners, and system-on-chip customers.
Larry LaCasse, regional sales manager for Express Logic, will bring more than 18 years of experience in the embedded-software space to his job leading the new office, according to Express Logic.
The new office is located at 945 Concord St. in Framingham.
