Title: District Sales Manager
Company: Office Depot
Company Location: Marlborough
Residence: Hopedale
Career highlights:
I am currently a district sales manager for Office Depot’s business solution division. I have been with Office Depot going on three years. I started my career here as a business development manager and was promoted after a year to a district manager. I have hired most of the members of my team which now numbers 12 sales reps that report to me.
Community involvement:
I am actually new to my community and would like to get more involved as the time goes on and I meet more and more people in my area. I do help with raising dollars for charities whether it be on a small scale for people who I have grown up with or become friends with over the years who may be in need or on a larger scale in donating to some of the larger charities which may have hit some part of my family. I also work with local charities in setting up programs through Office Depot to help them raise money.
Biggest success:
My biggest success professionally so far has been with Office Depot and becoming part of the Office Depot team. I have been able to grow with the company and be promoted to new positions without limiting myself and what I want to do. They allow you to be creative while having the stability of a large company.
Dream job:
My ultimate dream job would be to run a Major League Baseball franchise. I would want to start it from the ground up and build my team and watch it grow to be successful for years to come.
Businessperson he most admires and why:
I can’t say there is one particular person I admire the most. I admire anyone who works as hard and as smart as they can everyday they are in their current job. If everyone gets up in the morning wanting to win everyday then that is what they do and that is what I admire in a business person. n
