A Boston real estate firm bought two expansive Westborough properties, one of which is used as a wedding venue, for more than $15.7 million, according to the Worcester South District Registry of Deeds.
The properties included were 45 Oak St., a 70,000-square-foot industrial building partially leased to Yusra Venues, which sold for $10.4 million. The second property, 23 Bridle Lane, sold for $5.4 million. It’s situated less than half a mile from 45 Oak St. and consists of a 27,500-square-foot industrial warehouse.
The buyer in the transaction, which closed May 23, was an entity registered to four founding partners of Longpoint Realty Partners in Boston. Longpoint specializes in retail and industrial investments, according to its website.
Longpoint has made other industrial purchases in the region, including a $12-million facility in Marlborough in October and a $9.6-million Franklin warehouse in February.
Both properties were sold by trusts registered to Arthur Chase of Worcester.
The Oak Street property is leased to Yusra Venues, which uses the space as a wedding venue. Medical manufacturer Phillips-Medisize, which acquired Clinton-based Injectronics Corp. in 2016, leases the Bridle Lane location, according to real estate database CoStar.
Together, the Bridle Lane and Oak Street properties are assessed by the Town of Westborough at about $5 million.
