Motif FoodWorks, a Boston-based food technology company, is constructing a research-and-market development center in Northborough.
Located at 30 Bearfoot Road, the 65,000 sq. ft. facility will feature state-of-the-art food-technology as well as analytical and bioprocessing labs, according to a press release by McCord, the Houston-headquartered real estate firm in charge of the deal..
The ongoing construction will transform the space into a modern laboratory space with the project expected to be completed in the latter half of 2022.
“With a rapidly growing food-tech portfolio, we were looking at spaces that would provide a comfortable and creative environment for our employees, as well as the infrastructure to meet our research and pilot production needs,” said Jonathan McIntyre, CEO of Motif FoodWorks, in a press release.
