Boomer retirements top list of exec. concerns

The fact that an entire generation may retire during the next 10 years gets a lot of attention, and according to executives surveyed by Robert Half International, that attention is appropriate.

According to Half, an international staffing agency, 47 percent of executives surveyed said baby boomer retirements will have the greatest impact on the workforce in the coming decade. Half said executives are concerned about losing experienced employees, and may begin offering incentives like flexible or part-time schedules to keep those employees working as long as possible.
