Athena Diagnostics Sale Complete
Quest Diagnostics Inc. of New Jersey has completed the acquisition of Worcester's Athena Diagnostics genetic testing company from Thermo Fisher Scientific.
Athena will continue to operate under its own name in its Worcester clinical laboratory. The company specializes in testing for neurological disorders.
In February, Thermo Fisher announced plans to sell the company to Quest for $740 million in cash.
