Worcester’s Clark University is part of a new computing cluster arrangement that Nuclea Biotechnologies Inc. of Pittsfield announced today.
Nuclea says it has reached an agreement with Clark, Berkshire Community College and the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts to form high-performance computing clusters. The company will provide more than $300,000 for computer servers which will be shared between the schools and the company.
Officials from the company and the schools, including Clark Associate Provost and Dean of Research Nancy Budwig, were in Pittsfield this morning to announce the plan.
Nuclea Biotechnologies develops diagnostic tests and conducts oncology treatment research.
