More Information

Lora Dumas has played a role in keeping tens of thousands of Central Massachusetts residents safe, even if they don’t know her name.

During the COVID pandemic, she directed and supported local and state efforts in support of the Mass. Executive Office of Health and Human Services pandemic intervention and response initiatives. She contributed to the establishment of a volunteer portal and scheduling process for the Vaccine Corps, leading to nearly 100,000 vaccines administered to the region’s residents. She designed and deployed workflows to assist state facility employee vaccination requirements. Dumas was promoted to ForHealth Consulting’s inaugural strategy director position in 2022, just three years after being hired. She is responsible for promoting successful outcomes of ForHealth Consulting’s strategic pillars including employee empowerment, client satisfaction, and purposeful growth. Dumas played a key role in implementing the organization's strategic plan to further those commitments, including collaborating with ForHealth Consulting’s diversity and inclusion office to institute a new diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging pillar. Dumas launched the organization’s Employee Advisor Program, developed to engage frontline employees and build connections with leadership to better inform policy.
