Senior Consultant, Sullivan Benefits, Marlborough
Birthplace: Worcester
Residence: Paxton
High school: Worcester Academy
College and degree earned: Bachelor’s degree, College of the Holy Cross
Career highlights: Started in the employee benefits world as an intern with no background or understanding of the insurance world. I have climbed the ladder to senior consultant and have the opportunity to mentor others. I received my Producers license last year.
Community involvement: I’ve been March for Babies Team Captain, Sullivan Benefits Team, for the past 10 years, raising $155,000; corporator at the Worcester Art Museum, as well as president of the Members Council and co-chair of the Corporators Ball; Worcester Academy Alumni committee member; and President’s Council member at College of the Holy Cross.
Ultimate career goal: Become one of the best in my field, and continue to develop and maintain outstanding relationships among colleagues and clients while balancing my family, community and love for travel.
Non-relative you admire most: I have great admiration for Chrystine Heier and Gary Goodhile, small-business owners who gave me a chance.
Hidden talents: I can bake — carrot cakes and cookies are a hit. And I know how to operate such heavy equipment as farm tractors, plow trucks and backhoes.
“By the time I turn 50, I’d like to … be known as one of the best in the industry, have a family, have run a marathon, and to have stepped foot on every continent.”
